KVKK Information Notice (English summary)
Summary of our notice under Article 10 of Turkey's Personal Data Protection Law No. 6698 ("KVKK").

Data categories
- Health data (special category): steps, distance, active energy, workouts and optional weight from Apple HealthKit / Android Health Connect with your permission, plus onboarding answers (height, weight, target weight, constraints). Kept on your device; only step totals for optional friend challenges are synced to Firebase.
- Identity/contact: display name (challenges); email only if you use Apple/Google sign-in.
- Identifiers: Firebase user ID, RevenueCat anonymous app user ID, app-instance ID.
- Purchases: subscription status and purchase history via RevenueCat (no card details).
- Usage/diagnostics: pseudonymous analytics events, device/OS/app version, crash logs (Firebase Analytics, Crashlytics).
Purposes
Personalised walking plan and progress tracking; friend challenges and account management; subscription management; app stability and improvement; legal obligations and handling requests. No advertising; health data is never sold.
Legal bases
- Health data: explicit consent (KVKK Art. 6(2)), revocable at any time.
- Account, challenge and subscription data: performance of a contract (Art. 5(2)(c)); legal obligation (Art. 5(2)(ç)).
- Analytics/crash data: legitimate interest (Art. 5(2)(f)), or consent where required.
- Claims: establishment, exercise or protection of a right (Art. 5(2)(e)).
Collection method
Electronically, through the App, the OS health platforms (with permission), Apple/Google sign-in, and the Firebase and RevenueCat SDKs.
Transfers abroad (Art. 9)
Data is transferred to processors acting on our behalf — Google (Firebase) and RevenueCat, whose servers are in the US and EU, and Apple/Google for store, sign-in and payments — under Art. 9 mechanisms (Board-approved standard contracts or the Art. 9(6) exceptions), and to authorities where legally required.
Retention
On-device data until you delete it or uninstall; challenge data while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion; analytics/crash data per Firebase defaults.
Your rights (Art. 11)
To learn whether your data is processed and request information about it; learn the purpose and whether it is used accordingly; know third parties it is transferred to in Turkey or abroad; request correction, deletion or destruction and notification of these to recipients; object to adverse results from solely automated analysis; and claim compensation for unlawful processing.
